She is preceded in death by parents John E. and Katherine Hogan, brother John Hogan Jr., sister Irene Hogan, and husband Donald Doherty. He leaves his siblings: Rosemary Patterson, Kathleen Weeks, Martha Poney and husband, Phillip, Christine Allard and husband, Daniel, Karen Kenyon and husband, Clifford and Lenora Collins and several nieces and extended family. The family would like to express their gratitude to the University of Vermont Hospice Program and the McClure Miller Respite House for the wonderful, compassionate care extended to Keith. She is predeceased by her mother Elaine Parent, her father Lee Sutton, her step-father Moe Parent, her sister Vicki Winternitz, her adopted son Jaime ONeal and her granddaughter Selena Love. He also loved fishing and hunting whenever he could. She did not recover from that injury as her Parkinsons progressed rapidly, making it very difficult to swallow and talk. Along with his parents, Carl Sears, Jr. and Donna Avila, he leaves his brothers and their wives: Shawn and Holli Sears of Franklin and Carl, III and Kimberly Sears of Newport; his sister, Judy and husband, Wayne Butchino of Alburg and his aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. Private visitation and Memorial Service will be held at the familys convenience in Elmwood-Meunier Funeral Chapel, 97 Elmwood Ave. Memorial donations may be made to be used at the familys discretion. He took a lot of pride in attending all of their school functions and was Jacks #1 supporter at all of his sporting events. He was a fan of Star Wars and Star Trek and was unrivaled in his talent for playing chess.
